Services Explained:
- Comprehensive Language Evaluations/Assessment – Comprehensive evaluation/assessment of a child’s speech and language skills utilizing standardized and/or informal assessment to determine the presence of a diagnosis followed by an appropriate individualized plan of care.
- Speech Evaluation/Assessment – Evaluation/assessment of a child’s speech sound production utilizing standardized tests and/or informal assessment to determine the presence of a diagnosis followed by an appropriate individualized plan of care.
- Individual therapy – Implementation of evidence-based treatment approaches to address identified areas of deficit in a child’s speech or language in a one-on-one therapy setting. Individual services may be provided within the home environment, at a child’s daycare/preschool, or via teletherapy.
- Group therapy – Implementation of evidence-based treatment approaches to address language development or social skills within a small group setting.
- Parent education classes – Group sessions involving parents of young children to provide speech and language facilitation techniques.
- Consultative services – phone or in person consultations with caregivers, medical professionals (physicians, therapy providers), or school staff lasting longer than 10 minutes outside of regularly scheduled appointments.
